HIMERA, a company that develops advanced tactical communications systems for use in civil and emergency situations, has raised $150,000 in a second round of investment from the Ukrainian angel club United Angels Network. What will the funds be used for?
This investment complements a previous round of $225,000 from UAN raised in March 2024. Thus, United Angels Network has already invested $375,000 in HIMERA.
«We are proud that United Angels Network members support companies that change reality and make a significant contribution to the defense of Ukraine, HIMERA is an example of a startup that turns investments into vital products for our defenders,» said Ivan Dmytrasevych, founder of United Angels Network and a serviceman in the Air Defense Forces.
The funds received are aimed at developing two key areas of HIMERA:
Development of new products within the framework of the tactical communication system.
Business expansion in the Ukrainian and international markets.
«The investments we receive from our investors allow us to deliver the most relevant and advanced tactical communication systems to the Ukrainian Defense Forces, while keeping them as accessible as possible. Each additional walkie-talkie is an opportunity for our defenders to receive critically important information at the most difficult moment. This really prolongs the lives of the military and allows them to be much more effective,» noted Misha Rudominsky, co-founder of HIMERA.
Previously, HIMERA presented new products at the Ukrainian Armed Forces training grounds. Among the new products are products in addition to the G1 PRO tactical radios (launched in production in July 2023), namely the B1 network extender, the E1 internet extender, and the R1 repeater with the function of transmitting radio communication over the internet.
