The 1st Separate Medical Battalion conducted the «Gver» rescue operation to rescue a soldier who was evacuated 33 days after being wounded using an IRC. He was saved from enemy airstrikes by an armored capsule.
This was stated in a message on the battalion’s social media. The successful evacuation was preceded by six failed attempts and lost ground drones.
The total length of the route was 64 kilometers, of which the NRC covered 37 km on a damaged wheel after being blown up by a mine. During the route to the transfer point, the Russians dropped an explosive ordnance from a UAV, but the wounded man was not injured thanks to the armored capsule.
The battalion reported the following details of Operation Gver:
Mission duration: 5 hours 58 minutes.
Average speed of the NRC during the mission: 13 km/h.
Maximum speed of the NRC during the mission: 29 km/h.
«The soldier was evacuated and provided with the necessary medical care. He is currently continuing treatment at the next stage — his life is not in danger,» the First Separate Medical Battalion reported.
We are talking about the MAUL NRC, designed to evacuate the wounded from the front line. This is the 11th generation of the vehicle, which can travel up to 200 km, develops the speed of an ATV and has an armored capsule to protect the soldier.

«Our NRC is designed to evacuate the wounded from the line of combat contact, where evacuation by casevac is impossible. The condition of the wounded does not allow us to leave him for a certain time while waiting for the evacuation group. The guys independently put the wounded in, and we take him out,» said a soldier of the First Separate Medical Battalion with the call sign «Banker».
He explained that the NRC body is equipped with a polypropylene capsule, which provides complete protection for the wounded person from debris.
