«As you can see, it is completely in 3D and is probably the most expensive cover in the history of such a short story. We started working on the 3D scene on July 22, 2024. The last edits were made on November 12, 2024», Kidruk said.
According to the writer, he thought that the hardest thing would be to model the cold-beaten wheat, but in fact the biggest problems arose during the construction of the geodesic dome.

On November 26, the writer officially announced the book «New Dark Ages. Collapse». Kidruk said that within two minutes of the announcement, 6,150 users were on the website of the publishing house «Borodatiy Tamarin». The site did not crash, but the CloudFlare system, leveling the load, began to slow down work for many visitors.
Let us recall that at the presentation of the first book in the «New Dark Ages» series, Maksym Kidruk called the Midjourney and ChatGPT artificial intelligence models «stupid systems».
«These are programs that operate exclusively within the limits of a given algorithm. They learn only within certain limits. True artificial intelligence should be able to solve problems without a predetermined algorithm. A situation where ChatGPT „wakes up and wants to take over the world“ is impossible,» the writer said.
