About the appointment
The Seeton Supervisory Board elected Leonid Polupan after a systematic search process, the company announced.
"After almost eight years at Microsoft, years that shaped me as a leader and changed my thinking about technology, resilience, and teams, I have decided to take on a new challenge. I am joining Seeton as CEO. This decision combines two things that are of great importance to me: applying global experience, where daily decisions shape real results, and taking responsibility for the future of Ukraine and the region," Polupan wrote on LinkedIn.
In his new role, Leonid will lead Seeton's strategic development in key growth areas, including cybersecurity, artificial intelligence (AI), cloud transformation, and international expansion.
“At Seeton, I will focus on the fundamental principles that drive organizational growth: strong teams, clear operational rhythm, and technological excellence. Cybersecurity and artificial intelligence will remain important capabilities, but it is leadership, structure, and people that determine long-term success,” the new CEO noted.
What is known about Leonid Polupan?
Leonid Polupan holds a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Life Resources and Environmental Management of Ukraine and an Executive MBA from Kyiv-Mohyla Business School.
He joined Microsoft in 2018, initially leading corporate sales in the Black Sea region and later managing corporate business across 24 markets in Central and Eastern Europe.
In December 2022, he became Microsoft's regional manager in Ukraine, later expanding his authority to the Baltic countries and focusing on national projects in the field of cloud technology implementation, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and digital resilience.
His experience includes global market leadership, strategic transformation, and developing complex technology partnerships, which enables him to successfully lead Seeton into its next phase of growth, the company added.
“The last eight years at Microsoft have been a time of profound growth for me. I have had the privilege of holding several leadership roles, driving market transformation, building strong partnerships, and supporting teams during times when technology has become an important tool for resilience. Microsoft has shaped me as a leader and given me experiences that will always influence how I work,” Polupan noted.
