This was reported by Ukravtoprom. According to the portal, during May, Ukrainians purchased 1,580 Chinese cars, which is 70% more than in May 2024. The absolute majority of cars from China were electric cars — 85%.

Earlier, Ukravtoprom reported that in May, the Ukrainian car fleet was replenished with more than 3,000 hybrid passenger cars (HEV and PHEV). This is 43% more than last year.
According to the State Statistics Service, in the first quarter, new electric cars worth $79 million were imported to Ukraine, and used ones worth $277 million.
