Torch was working on an app that combined all of a person's medical information for use by artificial intelligence, TechCrunch writes .
Data was collected from various sources: doctor visits, lab tests, smartwatches, and other portals, including consumer health tests, etc. The Torch team called its technology “medical memory for AI, combining fragmented records into a single context mechanism.”
The startup's team and its technology will become part of the recently announced ChatGPT Health , a service for people who use a chatbot to analyze and manage their health.
A week after the release of OpenAI's medical AI , Anthropic's product has hit the market . Claude now has features for doctors and patients.
