Operator, which launched in January , was initially only available to Pro users in the US. Now, with a $200 monthly subscription in countries where the chatbot is available, users can try out an AI agent that will book flights, make restaurant reservations, fill out expense reports, and more for them.
Operator is currently available to Pro users in Australia, Brazil, Canada, India, Japan, Singapore, South Korea, the United Kingdom, and other countries, including Ukraine.
But OpenAI is still working on making its AI agent available in the EU, Switzerland, Norway, Liechtenstein, and Iceland.
The new tool is only available through the web , but the company said it plans to make Operator available to all ChatGPT customers. The AI agent runs in a separate browser window (which users can take control of at any time) to perform various tasks.
