«The technology allows us to shoot down „shaheeds“ with interceptor drones remotely. That is, the operator can be tens and hundreds of kilometers away from the drone in complete safety. Several units are already successfully shooting down air targets remotely,» the Sternenko Community FB page noted .
They said that the fund acted as the customer and provided full financing for this technology at the R&D stage — from ideation and development to communication with departments and testing.
«Currently, the Wild Hornets are actively scaling up and deploying mass production of the Hornet Vision Ctrl. Very soon, crews will receive even more such systems and the fight against the „shaheeds“ will reach a new level,» the fund added.
Earlier, Oleksandr Kamyshin, advisor to the President of Ukraine on strategic issues, reported that a Shahed suicide drone was shot down by a Ukrainian LITAVR interceptor drone, which was controlled remotely.
It is also known that Ukrainian operators controlled the Vampire drone in the Kupyansk direction from a distance of 1,100 km.
