The Ukrposhta application now has a parcel payment function

The national postal operator Ukrposhta has introduced a payment function for shipments in the Ukrposhta 2.0 application. The new option will allow customers to pay for services online and reduce the time spent in branches.
This was announced by the company’s CEO, Igor Smilyansky, on his social networks.
Thanks to the new update, users can pay for parcels and cash on delivery directly in the application, as well as pay customs duties for international shipments. In addition, Ukrposhta 2.0 allows you to register parcels and letters, change the recipient, extend the free storage period, and transfer the right to receive the shipment to another person (except for CCC summons).
"I know that many of our customers were waiting for this, and some did not become our customers because we did not have it. Now you can pay for the parcel and spend less time in the branch," said Smilyansky.
According to him, the decision to make forwarding free for October is related to the security situation and frequent air raids, which complicate visits to branches. You can arrange a free forwarding through the application even when the parcel has already arrived at the branch.
The company’s future plans include launching delivery to post offices, the ability to pay for parcels at post offices, and expanding the range of related products in branches.
