«Today, March 9, at around 10 a.m., the security protocols of the Savings Bank were activated due to a suspected DDoS attack. As a result, the bank’s servers were temporarily disconnected. A technical check of all systems is underway,» the financial institution noted .
Within the next hour, the bank noted, all electronic services should be fully restored.
UPDATE: Oschadbank announced that its services had been restored after a seven-hour outage.
«As of now, all of Oschadbank’s electronic services have been fully restored. The bank’s systems are operating normally,» the bank’s press service reported.
Oschadbank noted that the bank’s specialists had taken all necessary technical measures and thoroughly checked the bank’s IT infrastructure. They assured that customer data and funds remain secure and that there are no signs of compromise.
