Ukrainian defense-tech startup OSIRIS AI has unveiled its new OSIRIS UEB-1 interceptor drone. It was unveiled at the international event Xpotential 2026, which is taking place in Germany from March 24 to 26.
According to Defender media, this is a compact but quite aggressive aircraft: it accelerates to 315 km/h, can stay in the air for more than 10 minutes and operate at a distance of up to 18 km within direct visibility. The combat load is up to 0.5 kg.
According to the developers, the OSIRIS UEB-1 is not just another FPV drone, but a tool for rapid interception. It was made for sharp acceleration and stable operation even under high loads — in fact, for scenarios where not only speed is important, but also control over dynamics.
For guidance, analog video transmission at a frequency of 5.8 GHz is used — this allows to minimize delays. The camera is day vision, but there is an option for operation in low light conditions. Video is transmitted in real time, which is critical for intercepting targets.
Application scenarios include countering enemy UAVs, tactical interception, perimeter security, and rapid deployment in the field.
The company has a distributed infrastructure: production in Ukraine and Poland, and an R&D center in Krakow. This is a typical pattern for Ukrainian defense-tech, which scales to Europe while maintaining the engineering base.
It is worth adding that back in the fall of 2025, OSIRIS AI attracted investment from an American investor and announced integrations with two drone manufacturers. The company’s key product is the modular operating system DroneOS, which allows combining various platforms, AI modules, and cloud services into a single ecosystem.
