Ukrainian manufacturer has created an infantry electronic warfare system "Patelnya" with a protective hood that shields the wearer

As «Military» notes, the «Patelnya» electronic warfare system is placed on a backpack with a MOLLE system and allows you to control the antenna with one hand.

EW is a powerful source of electromagnetic radiation (usually covering 360 degrees) in a limited but wide frequency range. It can cause nausea, headaches, fatigue, dizziness, so the developers took care of the operator’s protection and included a wide hood that shields the radiation.

Unwave highlights the following features of the device:

• 2K suppression: 2400–2484 / 5725–5850 MHz.
• 3K suppression: same frequencies, plus additional 5150–5300 MHz.
• Power: 50 watts per channel.

It is noted that the «Frying Pan» weighs about 15 kg with one battery and has dimensions: 640×350×400 mm.

Earlier, dev.ua managed to talk to the chief engineer of Unwave at the first Defense Tech job fair «Arsenal of Talents». He spoke about the «Trap» information interaction system for creating both fixed and mobile lines that completely cover all tasks related to the detection and neutralization of radio threats.
