As she noted on her social media channel, the state leadership convinced partners that this idea was not constructive.
According to the Prime Minister, during the spring meeting in Washington, representatives of the Ukrainian government held numerous consultations with the IMF and European partners, and will now «work together on the necessary solutions and develop other alternative measures to ensure the revenue side of the budget for 2027.»
In turn, People’s Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak, commenting on this issue, drew attention to the fact that it was not removed from the agenda, but postponed.
He also called for waiting to see «what exactly the government will propose as a compensator for 2027.»
Recall that on March 30, the Cabinet of Ministers adopted three draft laws concerning amendments to the Tax Code, namely: taxation of parcels up to 150 euros; introduction of a 5% military levy for all time; and taxation of digital platforms. However, the draft law on VAT for individual entrepreneurs was not included in this package.
