As reported by Censor.NET, the new product was presented as part of a large-scale display of the company’s defense solutions. In addition to the AI interceptor, the developers showed the automated MADS mini-air defense system, new electronic warfare (EW) systems, and drone detection.
Peace Duck has joined a new line of physical means of defeating air targets. Along with it, the developers announced a series of Yell Duck FPV strike drones, Blackwing and Black Goose unmanned wings for operation in conditions of complete absence of GPS signal, as well as the Nyvexa ground-based logistics EW platform.
Another important premiere was the automated mini-air defense system MADS. It is designed to detect, track and intercept small targets (including enemy FPV) at a distance and altitude of up to 1000 meters. The system combines passive acoustic classification radars, FMCW tracking radars and launch turrets. MADS interceptor missiles are equipped with fragmentation, thermobaric or mesh warheads to destroy objects moving at speeds up to 300 km/h.
Previously, Ukrainian tech entrepreneur and founder of miltech startups The Fourth Law and Odd Systems, Yaroslav Azhnyuk, criticized the trend of obscene and abusive names for Ukrainian military equipment, which is supported by some companies in the industry.
