Agentic Pay automated payments and international transfers may appear in the Diia application

This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, Oksana Ferchuk, following a meeting with the Visa team.

The main focus of the cooperation is the development and implementation of the Agentic Pay tool. This technology is designed to automate government payments and disbursements — from paying fines to regular settlements. According to the head of the Ministry of Digital Affairs, Visa considers Ukraine as a potential first example in the world of integrating artificial agent payments with a state digital platform. Currently, the parties continue to study the technical aspects of the integration and are preparing for testing.

In addition, they are working on launching international money transfers directly to Diia using Visa Direct technology. A joint working group is being created to implement this project, involving banks and technology companies.

Among other key areas of cooperation, the parties will focus on strengthening cybersecurity, including protection against deepfake threats, implementing behavioral analysis of transactions, and developing fraud prevention systems. In addition, the partners continue to support Ukrainian women entrepreneurs within Diia.Business and the global She’s Next initiative, working to update the Brave acceleration program in accordance with their current needs.
