The Droid NW 40 ground robotic complex, developed by the Ukrainian company DevDroid, has passed the codification procedure in accordance with the requirements of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Droid NW 40 is a reconnaissance and strike ground robotic complex adapted to work with a 40 mm Mk-19 or AGL-53 automatic grenade launcher (Ukrainian analogue of Mk-19) and designed to perform complex and dangerous combat missions without the presence of personnel in the area of direct contact.
Droid NW 40 provides:
effective destruction of lightly armored targets and manpower;
range of damage up to 1.5 km;
support for 6 types of communication, including Starlink, LTE, Mesh.
Recall that the DevDroid company's Droid TW 12.7 robotic complex destroyed a Russian MT-LB along with its crew . This is the first documented case of a ground robot destroying enemy armored vehicles in real combat.
