The name “robot phone” is not entirely accurate – it is actually a smartphone with a camera stabilizer built into the back panel. Honor said that the main camera will receive a 200-megapixel sensor and will be integrated into a system that the company calls the industry’s smallest 4DoF gimbal. The device supports various AI tracking modes, as well as more “robotic” features, such as the ability to nod or shake your “head” during a conversation and “dance” to music.
This is all that was known about the phone's specifications as of early March, when the company unveiled a working prototype along with a humanoid robot at MWC 2026, The Verge reported .

During the presentation, the manipulator was demonstrated to extend from the body of a working prototype, conduct a dialogue using AI, and fold back. While the movement of the mechanism was confirmed, other capabilities of the device remained undisclosed.
It is expected that the new product will be available only on the Chinese market.
