The development team announced this in their official patch note.
The main innovation of Last Port in the Storm is the new biome "Obsidian Crater", where players can find unique resources, including Aurogen crystals. The location has its own dangers: cracks with lava, which cause damage to players and tramplers (crocodile), as well as the overheating mechanic — the accumulation of high temperature by the character gradually damages him.
In addition, the game has a new large-scale island "Cosmodrome", rich in valuable resources, which will serve as the final evacuation point in the Storm Dive mode. The developers have also added a dynamic event "Dropship Crash Site": approaching a downed ship activates the appearance of enemy battleships.
Other changes include the introduction of doors powered by energy reactors, new notes to expand the world’s lore, and a nerf to the speed of throwing impulse grenades to prevent spam. The developers have also improved the world generation, making the landscape less mountainous and easier to navigate, and fixed a series of bugs, including an exploit with duplicate items and an orbital strike.
The team is currently working on optimizing shader compilation, which can cause FPS drops at the beginning of the match, and is also preparing the following fixes to stabilize the gameplay.
