According to the team, the application is already available in the App Store and Google Play, is already in the testing stage, is completely free, without advertising, and in Ukrainian.
If a dog is lost, the owner can declare a missing person for the animal — all users nearby will instantly receive a notification and see on the map the place where the animal was last seen. The radius of the notification of neighbors can be set from 3 to 20 km. If someone finds someone else’s dog with a microchip, they can privately notify the animal’s family using the chip number in a matter of seconds.
«The worst nightmare of pet parents is an open gate and an empty yard. You can declare a wanted person in the passport, and the neighbors nearby immediately see a notification and a map of where the dog has disappeared. The more of us there are, the faster the tails return home,» the developers write.

The petpasport.app team plans to add a section for temporary care and adoption of dogs, online consultations with a veterinarian, breed-specific nutrition advice and a medication dosage calculator, training guides, a search for verified caregivers and walkers, as well as a mechanism for transparent donations to shelters directly from the application.
