Under her post, recruiter Viktoriya Mirkevych noted that she had already received six resumes from such managers. «With salary requirements of $3,000-6,000…junior-middle level,» she specified.
Business development specialist Natalia Vyhivska notes that, despite the current situation, business is not forced to pick up yesterday’s NGOs and adapt their staff. «Such an unnecessary load will even harm it in many cases. Last year, I was recruiting a project office of 5 project managers and therefore I looked at many people. There, the owner wanted to create a structure for himself. What did we see? Firstly, many of them have only two competencies: self-presentation and promises that everything will be fine with the grant. But they cannot explain the main figures for the implemented projects. Secondly, more than half considered their main task to write fancy reports in such a way as to hide actual non-core expenses and to fool the eye. That is why some are called grandees. Therefore, when many soap NGOs have collapsed, I would advise you to look very carefully at such project managers,» says Natalia.
