To implement his scheme, Ben Gez uses an open-source AI agent called OpenClaw to track the results of World Cup matches. After each game, the system launches Claude, which creates and posts a template video on Instagram. In the video, Gez looks out the train window with a sad face, and the caption suggests that girls from the country that lost the match should contact him for «emotional support.»
«I think it’s crazy: the potential is just crazy right now. I’m not sure if everyone will like it, but, you know, it works,» shares the startup founder.
The videos are published as a trial reel and are not displayed on the author’s general profile, so subscribers do not see dozens of identical publications for different countries. In a few days, automation brought Gezu over a million views and 200 private messages. The developer’s profile indicates that he only responds to users who write to him through Canary, his own artificial intelligence-based language learning application. Thus, Gezu converts romantic interest into downloading his own product.
When asked if women feel cheated by such automation, the developer notes that they usually react positively. According to him, when he talks frankly about how the algorithm works, girls are rather impressed by the creative approach.
Previously, the founder of Cluely explained how his product evolved from a tool for cheating in interviews to an assistant for cheating everywhere, including live chat. In a promotional video for the software, he showed how it can be used on a date.
