"Robots have arrived at Ukrposhta," wrote the head of the national postal operator, Ihor Smilyansky, referring to the world's first commercially available Hypershell exoskeletons.
Testing of robotic devices to ease physical exertion has begun at the Kyiv-Livyi terminal, with an area of 14,000 square meters. Currently, there are two models - X PRO and X Carbon.
Hypershell exoskeletons from China were officially brought to Ukraine by DroneUA and Robotics Distribution .
The basic version weighs only 1.7 kg. It is equipped with the intelligent MotionEngine system and is able to compensate for up to 29.9 kg of weight, which significantly facilitates physical activity and reduces muscle fatigue.
The exoskeleton provides up to 17.5 km of travel on a single charge, with a 50% charge in just 35 minutes. Its resource is up to 4,000 kilometers, with dust and moisture resistance according to the IP54 standard, and the operating temperature range varies from -20°C to +60°C.
In the coming months, Ukrposhta plans to analyze the testing results and collect feedback from the team.
"If such an upgrade helps our specialists get less tired and feel better, then in the future we will scale this experience to other sorting centers in the country," noted Smilyansky.
Nova Poshta has also started testing Hypershell exoskeletons in warehouse operations.
Recall that dev.ua tested the exoskeleton at home.
