Protector was developed by Ukrainian Armored Vehicles. It is a heavy unmanned ground complex to ensure the safety of soldiers when performing logistical and combat missions in any terrain and at any time of the year.
Among the tasks that the Protector can perform are transporting ammunition or equipment, evacuating the wounded, using it as a platform for a robotic combat module, mobile electronic warfare and electronic warfare systems, etc.
The load capacity of this remotely controlled platform is up to 700 kg. The range is up to 400 km.
The car is equipped with a powerful internal combustion engine and has high cross-country ability. All-wheel drive allows you to overcome significant obstacles and fords, and RunFlat wheels allow you to continue driving even if damaged.
"In fact, this is a new branch of development of ground robotic complexes - a full-size unmanned vehicle," said Deputy Defense Minister Valery Churkin.
Let us recall that since the beginning of 2025, the Ministry of Defense has allowed almost 600 domestically produced military equipment samples to enter service . Of these, almost 30 are NRKs.
