According to the case materials, on August 7 at 3:10 p.m., the programmer attempted to cross the state border from the village of Nelipivtsi, Dnistrovskyi district, Chernivtsi region, towards the Republic of Moldova, in a group of people with another citizen, and was detected by the «Secret» border guard unit, 150 m from the State Border Line.
The programmer did not appear at the court hearing, but submitted a statement to the court requesting that the case be considered in his absence.
The guilt of the AIT employee in the committed offense is also confirmed by the protocol on administrative offenses, his written explanations, and other case materials.
Considering that this was the first time the man was being held administratively liable and did not cause significant damage as a result of the offense, the court decided to release him from administrative liability and limit himself to an oral reprimand.
The judge’s ruling in an administrative offense case may be appealed within ten days from the date of the ruling. An appeal is filed with the Chernivtsi Court of Appeal through the Kelmenetsky District Court.
