As Dmytro Gorlin, Director of Engineering at Quantum-Systems, said in an interview with DOU, the team is currently expanding the Embedded and Flight Control areas and inviting specialists who work with Rust, C, and C++.
The division is divided into two main areas — hardware engineering (development and design of equipment) and software engineering (creation of software).
In the hardware department, the team is engaged in mechanical design and electronics development, including PCBs and components for drones. In the software department, the main focus is the MOSAIC system, which allows you to control multiple drones simultaneously.
Recall that in May, Quantum Systems raised 160 million euros, becoming the first European unicorn in the field of dual-use technologies. The investors were the funds Project A, Sanno Capital, HV Capital, as well as Peter Thiel and his investment company.
The company plans to use a significant portion of the 160 million euros raised to develop its Ukrainian division. The Ukrainian office is currently growing the fastest — it is home to the largest drone fleet and pilot community, as well as a full production cycle. The funds will be invested in expanding R&D, building new factories in Ukraine, and acquiring technology companies.
