German company Quantum Systems, known for its reconnaissance drones, has announced the development of a high-speed interceptor drone called Jäger, Military reports , citing German publication Hartpunkt .
The interceptor drone destroys the target with a direct kinetic strike without the use of explosives. This principle of destruction is reported to make the drone cheaper, the price of which is estimated at several thousand euros.

The drone is currently undergoing testing at the Grafenwöhr training center in Germany. Quantum Systems has begun preparing the interceptor for mass production.
It was previously reported that Quantum Systems drones are now available on the military marketplaces Brave1 Market and DOT-Chain Defence . Ukrainian units can now place orders directly and in the desired configuration, without lengthy approvals.
In August, Quantum Systems announced the development of a new Sparta platform for delivering FPV drones over significant distances for the purpose of pinpoint strikes on the enemy.
