The investment tripled the company’s previous valuation, Bloomberg reported. Quantum-Systems sells reconnaissance drones used by the Defense Forces.
Last summer, Quantum Systems opened a plant in Ukraine that produces Vector reconnaissance drones for the Defense Forces. The company also announced the deployment of a new upgrade of its Receptor AI artificial intelligence sensors in Ukraine .
The new funding will help increase production capacity and fund the development of anti-drone systems that the company plans to start selling next year.
In May, Quantum Systems raised €160 million, becoming the first European unicorn in dual-use technologies. At the time, the company announced that it planned to use a significant portion of the funds raised to develop its Ukrainian division.
