Today, February 12, the Rada supported the extension of the term for passing the VLK for citizens who were recognized as limitedly fit for military service, until June 5, 2025.
This was reported by People's Deputy Yaroslav Zheleznyak.
The People's Deputies immediately voted unanimously in support of the bill — 313 votes "in favor."
Previously, the deadline was set for February 4, but now it has been extended to June 5.
"Citizens of Ukraine aged 25 to 60 who were recognized as limitedly fit for military service before the entry into force of this Law (except for persons recognized in accordance with the established procedure as persons with disabilities) are obliged to do so from the date of entry into force of this Law until June 5, 2025 (previously, the deadline was set until February 4, 2025)," the draft law states.
