Ukrainian developer Unwave has created a pre-production drone «Rebodron», equipped with an integrated electronic warfare system. The complex operates in the 2.4 GHz and 5.8 GHz bands and is designed to neutralize the enemy’s most popular civilian quadcopters, in particular the DJI Mavic series.

A company representative told the publication «Military» about the new development during the Unwave 3rd Anniversary Demo Day event in July 2026. The drone was designed at the request of one of the units of the Defense Forces of Ukraine, whose soldiers were harassed by enemy drones.
To suppress radio signals, experts used two transmitting modules with a power of 50 W each. The electronic warfare system is completely autonomously powered by its own battery. This allows the power electronics of the drone itself and the jamming equipment to be separated in order to avoid mutual influence and failures. The Rebodron can stay in the air for up to 40 minutes — the integrated suppression complex can work continuously for the same amount of time.
The drone is capable of performing tasks in patrol mode or as an aerial stationary platform. After entering a designated area, the copter hovers in the air. Thanks to the optical stabilization system, the device maintains its position with a drift of up to 10 meters even in the complete absence of a GPS signal.
The flight controller, power distribution boards, engine speed regulators, electronic warfare modules, power supplies, and batteries are manufactured and assembled by Ukrainian enterprises. The antennas for the complex are the Unwave team’s own development. Of the imported parts, the drone mainly uses only the engines and the optical camera.
Previously, Unwave presented three new products: the EW «Vikha», the ground robotic complex Terrikon-X and the strike complex «Steppe Wind». The company also added that over the three years of its activity it has supplied the Defense Forces with over 50,000 products and fulfilled over 600 contracts with military units. The team has grown from five people to over 350 specialists.
