The Cabinet of Ministers has approved a procedure that allows enterprises of the defense-industrial complex to temporarily restrict access to information about themselves in public registers for the duration of martial law.
According to Resolution No. 1257 of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dated October 3, 2025, this mechanism can be used by enterprises officially recognized as critically important for the functioning of the economy or for ensuring the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
How to use
To use the option, the company must submit an electronic request to the Ministry of Defense, signed with a qualified electronic signature. It must indicate:
company name;
EDRPOU code;
a comprehensive list of public registers and sites where information needs to be hidden;
a list of companies that publish it.
A copy of the order granting critical status must also be attached to the request, the DOU reports .
After receiving the request, the Ministry of Defense checks it and within three working days contacts service providers (owners of registries, sites, etc.) with a request to restrict access. If there are errors in the request, the company will be notified. Then, within 10 working days, the owners of registries and sites providing access to them must hide the information and inform the ministry about it.
Access to the data will be restored automatically for everyone no later than a month after the lifting of martial law. The information will also be made public again if the company loses its critical status or makes such a request. In these cases, the data will be opened within 10 business days after the relevant letter from the Ministry of Defense.
