When voting for the basis of the bill, only 219 deputies out of the required 226 supported it.
In addition, the bill did not receive the required number of votes either to be sent for a second first reading or to be returned for revision, so it was rejected.
Among other things, the document provided for amendments to the legislation on the processing of personal data in information systems in the field of education.
As for the e-document on education, its implementation was justified by the fact that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation, a significant number of the population has lost their education documents on physical media and the opportunity to obtain such documents from educational institutions due to their forced relocation or evacuation.
We would like to remind you that the draft State Budget recently submitted to the Verkhovna Rada provides UAH 234.9 million for the operation of the educational mobile application «Mriya» .
In addition, Google recently announced funding of $1.5 million to support the Ukrainian educational project «Mriya».
