The British company Avon Technologies, a world leader in the production of protective equipment for the military, has received an order worth 10.2 million pounds from the UK Ministry of Defense to supply respirators to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

According to the company, the FM50 respirators meet the latest NATO requirements. They provide full face protection against CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) threats, with very low breathing resistance, ensuring comfortable wear.
The UK Ministry of Defense order will be delivered in the next financial year, i.e. by September 2026.

This order demonstrates our important contribution to the overall health and resilience of the UK's defence industrial base and reinforces the UK's commitment to continued military support for Ukraine," said the company's CEO Jos Slater.
Avon Technologies is a British company that specializes in the development and production of respiratory protective equipment for the military, law enforcement and firefighters. The company has two divisions, Avon Protection and Team Wendy, which supply respiratory protective equipment worldwide. Production is located in the UK and North America.
Recall that yesterday, the Norwegian defense company Kongsberg Defence & Aerospace opened an office in Ukraine. The Norwegian Ministry of Defense also announced that the company will produce surface drones together with Ukrainian partners.
