The Ministry of Defense explained what the new mark "VOS-999. Requires basic combined arms training" means in the "Reserve+" application, which appeared in the electronic documents of some users.
What does the new mark mean?
VOS-999 is a military registration specialty assigned to conscripts who have not completed military service or training.
"This norm is defined in the Order of the Ministry of Defense No. 317 based on Article 39 of the Law of Ukraine "On Military Duty and Military Service". This allows the state to estimate the number of conscripts who, in the event of being called up for military service during mobilization, need to undergo a course of basic combined-arms training for a special period, " the Ministry of Defense explains .
What to do in this case?
There is no need to do anything special. Such a military registration specialty is not a basis for a fine or other restrictions.
"Therefore, such information is needed only for information on the number of persons who need to undergo the BZVP in the event of being called up for military service during mobilization for a special period. It does not require additional actions from the user," the defense ministry added.
