UPD. «Reserve+» has resumed work after a failure, military users of the application told dev.ua. However, as of 22:17 on February 8, the Ministry of Defense had not yet officially reported the restoration of the service.
As reported by dev.ua readers, when trying to access the application, a notification is sent about a technical problem.
The Ministry of Defense has not yet commented on the problem.
This is not the first failure in Reserve+. In December and November, users have already encountered something similar. Then, «one of the team members accidentally sent test pushes to prod.»
The failure is likely related to the implementation of a new function for automatically extending deferrals, which was launched on February 7. As reported by Deputy Minister of Defense for Digitalization Kateryna Chernogorenko, the function will initially work for deferrals that were issued through Reserve+ — for people with disabilities, as well as students, postgraduates, and doctoral candidates.
