In AI Mode, users can now get help booking tickets for events, as well as booking beauty and health treatments, writes TechCrunch.
For example, you could say, “Find me two cheap tickets to an upcoming Shaboozey concert. Preferably standing room only.” The AI Mode will then search multiple websites for current ticket options that match your specific query. It will then provide a curated list of ticket prices from which you can choose. The AI Mode will then take the user directly to the booking page to complete the purchase.
The new agent features are available in the US to anyone participating in Google's Search Labs program. The company also points out that there are higher usage limits for Google AI Pro and Ultra subscribers.
Google first launched AI Mode in March to compete with popular services like Perplexity AI and OpenAI’s ChatGPT search. Since then, the tech giant has introduced AI Mode in over 180 countries and is constantly expanding its functionality.
