Russia attacked the Data Group data center. What are the consequences?

Today, the data center of the telecom company Data Group was damaged as a result of a hostile attack.

The fact of the attack was confirmed in a comment to dev.ua by the company’s director, Mykhailo Shelemba.

“Today, as a result of a hostile attack, our data center was damaged. The main thing is that our employees were not injured,” he said.

Shelemba added that client data has been saved and all services continue to operate from backup sites.

“We took care of infrastructure backup, so even after the data center was damaged, we continue to ensure the operation of services. Currently, our specialists are assessing the damage and working on restoring the infrastructure,” added the head of Data Group.
