Zelenskyy stated this in an interview with The Wall Street Journal.
According to the president, the Russian military has already tried to use the new technology in Ukraine several times, although they are not using it en masse yet.
"There have already been several cases when they tried to use this new technology — not en masse, but they are moving in this direction, practicing in practice. […] The drone simply flew through the window of the house, hovered and waited for people. And when people came, it attacked," Zelensky said.
The president linked the emergence of such capabilities in the Russian military with China. According to him, Beijing has access to the relevant technologies and has already begun sharing them with Russia. Zelensky also said that Russia and its partners are using the war in Ukraine to gain practical experience in the application of new technologies. In particular, he mentioned the North Korean military, which, according to him, can thus be trained in working with drones and new methods of warfare.
