Russian telecom operators MTS and Beeline recommended that their customers top up their Apple ID balance from their mobile phone account in advance for a long period of time — for example, for a year.

«To maintain access to subscriptions, we recommend topping up your Apple ID balance, for example, for a year,» says a Beeline message quoted by Russian media.
At the same time, MTS noted that the maximum amount of top-up at a time is nine thousand rubles, and the number of transactions is not limited.
«We know that you pay for Apple services from your phone balance. We remind you that you also have the opportunity to top up your Apple Wallet balance in advance in the Apple Store app. We recommend doing this,» MTS informed its customers.
Recall that the Minister of Digital Development of the country 404 Maksut Shadayev the day before asked mobile operators to prohibit subscribers from replenishing their Apple ID balance from their mobile phone account, starting from April 1.
