«Probably, this traffic light works like an infantry detector, which has an analyzer of the operating frequency range, designed for early detection of FPV drones,» — noted in «Military».
There is also the possibility that the traffic light can be controlled by an operator who manually sets the right light according to the detected drones. Another option is that the detector on the mast can have a sound analyzer that determines the operation of drones by the sound of their engine. Such a sensor can also detect drones with optical fiber.
Earlier, Serhiy Flesh spoke about the importance and lack of FPV detectors and EW checkers. According to him, FPV drones mostly hunt machinery and cars. And the detector can save the lives of soldiers.
Last year, a team of Ukrainian developers created a device for detecting enemy drones called «Seeker», which has a light and sound alarm.
