This week, a reconnaissance version of the Russian V2U artificial intelligence strike UAV was spotted at the front.
This was reported by military and expert in the field of communications and UAVs Sergey "Flash" Beskrestnov.
According to him, the new type of this drone has been spotted on all fronts. It differs from the attack drone in that it lacks tail stabilizers in the center. After completing a reconnaissance mission, the drone lands on a parachute.
"When we studied the trophies, there were different names for this line of drones in the V2U program. There is a strike drone. There is also a reconnaissance drone. All that remained was a courier drone for logistics," noted "Flash."
It is unknown who is developing and manufacturing the drone. But GUR previously reported that V2U calculations are performed on a Chinese minicomputer Leetop A203, where the processor is NVIDIA Jetson Orin.
"For me, the most important issue is the interaction of reconnaissance and strike drones in a swarm solution. I will repeat once again that I consider this development of the AI-based UAV line to be the most innovative and dangerous," the military officer added.
