According to Vitaliy, the extension does almost the same thing as the Game Haven website, but in a «more compact version» and displays information from its service on game pages on Steam and GOG. It also works on wishlist and library pages.

In a comment to dev.ua, Vitaliy said that he used Claude to generate a client and models for the extension from his site’s API documentation.
«The idea of expanding has been around for a long time, even after the site launched, some users suggested it, and the „PLAY/DON’T PLAY“ expansion was the incentive to finally take on it,» the developer noted.
Previously, Denis Klevanny, the author of the Telegram channel «GRAY» dedicated to video games, announced the «DO NOT PLAY» extension for Chromium-based browsers. It marks Russian studios and publishers on the game’s page on Steam.
According to Denis, Vitaliy, a Ukrainian IT professional and military man, who created the website " Game Haven «, helped a lot in filling the database. His project allows you to see which games have official and unofficial localization or are of Russian origin.
Social media users liked the «Game Haven» extension and asked the developer to add integration with another Ukrainian gaming service — GRAVK. It allows gamers to manage their game library, track statistics, create lists and rate games. In a comment to dev.ua, Vitaliy confirmed that he had already contacted the author of GRAVK about the integration.
The " Game Haven " extension is currently available for download in the Chrome Web Store and Add-ons for Firefox and supports Ukrainian and English. Like «PLAY/NOT PLAY», itcan be installed directly into the Steam client using the open-source low-code platform Millenium.
