Russia has increased the production of jet drones to 3,000 units per month — Serhii "Flash"
The aggressor state has reached a production level of about three thousand jet drones per month. In the future, the enemy plans to maintain such volumes and produce up to 40,000 UAVs per year, while simultaneously developing new high-speed models that imitate cruise missiles.
The aggressor state has reached a production level of about three thousand jet drones per month. In the future, the enemy plans to maintain such volumes and produce up to 40,000 UAVs per year, while simultaneously developing new high-speed models that imitate cruise missiles.
This was stated on the air of a national telethon by Serhiy "Flash" Beskrestnov, a non-staff advisor to the President of Ukraine on the development of technological areas of defense, Ukrinform reports.
"Last month, according to our statistics, there were 1,500 attacks by jet drones. This month, we have already counted 3,000 jet drones. Based on our intelligence, the Russians have plans to produce 36-40,000 UAVs per year. That is, more than three thousand per month. We can say that they have already reached this capacity," the expert said.
According to Beskrestnov, the Russian military-industrial complex will produce both jet and conventional gasoline-powered aircraft. It is expected that the share of jet systems will be about 60%, while the rest will be slow-moving drones of the Shahed-136 type familiar to Ukrainians (in the Russian Federation they are labeled as "Geran-2"). The enemy plans to use jet drones mainly for attacks on rear areas, since the Ukrainian Defense Forces are actively shooting down slower targets with the help of anti-aircraft drones.
Realizing that Ukraine will eventually start using its own jet interceptors on a large scale, the Russian Federation is actively working on creating new, faster means of destruction. In particular, we are talking about a product called "Banderol", which Beskrestnov described as a cheap jet cruise missile with a planned production volume of up to 1,000 units per month.
In addition, the occupiers are preparing for production similar strike missiles "Dan-T", "Dan-M" and drones "Geran-5". These means will be able to reach speeds of 500 to 650 km/h, fly at ultra-low altitudes and actively maneuver, which will significantly complicate the work of Ukrainian air defense systems.
