The reason for the ban was the e-sportsman's activities as part of the BC.Game organization, for which he has been playing since 2025. One of Kostylev's teammates was Russian player Denis "electroNic" Sharipov. The ban will be in effect until June 30, 2027. During this period, s1mple is deprived of the right to participate in any tournaments organized by the Ukrainian Esports Federation.
