According to the ITC portal, SafeRoad analyzes the road situation, collecting data from users and other sources, and warns about potential dangers. Drivers can receive up-to-date notifications about potholes, broken roads, areas with difficult traffic or emergency spots. There is also the opportunity to add your own marks to the map, helping other drivers avoid dangerous areas.
For six months, the team actively tested the development and improved the algorithms. As a result of testing, it was possible to mark on the map more than 1,000 km of roads in Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, including dangerous areas, recommended speed limits, and areas with damaged pavement.
Currently, the project is financed exclusively by the developers' own funds. The main goal is to expand the platform and cover a larger number of Ukrainian roads, including secondary roads, which often remain without proper monitoring. In the future, there are plans to enter the international market, as well as integrate with navigation systems to improve user convenience.
SafeRoad is available for Android users on Google Play , as well as a web version .
