«A few minutes ago, a rocket launcher hit our sorting center in Zaporizhia. Most importantly, all our employees were in shelters and were not injured,» Tafiychuk wrote.
The top manager also said that the company does not plan to stop work despite the consequences of the attack.
On the same day, Nova Poshta launches a new service — night delivery and night pickup of items from post offices, and also continues to develop fulfillment.
According to Tafiychuk, the company has already tested the new format. In particular, one of the clients ordered a book in Kyiv at 00:25, and at 17:55 it was available for collection at a post office in Vinnytsia. Another night shipment, placed through a post office in Kyiv at 03:04, arrived at the Odessa branch at 16:08 on the same day.
At the same time, after the Russian attack that completely destroyed the warehouse of the online retailer MOYO, Nova Poshta offered its partner its help. «We are already in touch with them and are ready to help with our capacities, as well as provide a free period of using our services,» Tafiychuk said.
The media also wrote about the hit at the Obolon sorting terminal of Nova Poshta that night. However, the company has not officially communicated this.
