Russia is modernizing the «Shaheds»: if today they can be shot down by interceptor drones, then tomorrow this may change. Soon the occupiers may switch to jet drones. Therefore, Ukraine is making new decisions.
This was stated by First Deputy Prime Minister — Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov on the air of a national telethon, RBC-Ukraine reports .
According to him, soon the occupiers will definitely switch to jet drones, so Ukraine needs to work on new solutions.
«Technological development is like a blitz in chess, that is, everything changes very quickly and new decisions must be made constantly… Russia will definitely switch to jet drones and we need to work on this,» said Fedorov.
He also noted that Russia is developing very quickly in relation to the «Shaheds».
«They are already integrating different solutions that allow the shaheds to bypass the interceptors, and we are implementing other solutions. So it’s a daily change of tactics,» the minister said.
Ukraine has already signed contacts with at least four companies that are developing the most large-scale solutions for interceptors.
«There are certain positive technological solutions where high technologies are used, where solutions that require years of work to achieve have already been found and are being used. Therefore, how quickly we will have a sufficient number of interceptors depends on the scaling of production,» said Fedorov.
The President called for contracting all effective interceptor drones to counter the «shaheeds.» We understand how they work, what is available on the market, and how effective they are compared to other air defense systems.
