Monobank co-founder Oleg Gorohovsky reported a new fraudulent scheme.
“Something new: scammers have already started looking for victims through ‘Do you want to work at mono? Install the app and complete the quest to get hired.’ And there’s a classic app for intercepting phone control,” Gorohovsky wrote in his Telegram channel.
According to the ad shared by Gorokhovsky, the bank is supposedly looking for hotline operators for remote work. The scammers promise a salary of UAH 40,000 and official employment. This amount is significantly higher than the market rate, which should be the first warning sign of fraud.

Gorokhovsky also noted that stealing money from Mono through control hijacking will not work, as the bank's clients are protected from this. However, this way, fraudsters can access accounts in other banks.
