This is stated in the relevant court ruling on the opening of proceedings dated July 17.
According to the case materials, on April 14 of this year, the state agency issued a decision to impose a fine on LLC "Football Club "Shakhtar" (Donetsk)". The reason for the sanctions was the club's alleged violation of the requirements of Ukrainian legislation on advertising. The amount of the fine imposed and details regarding the specific advertising materials that caused the regulator's claims are not disclosed in the court document at this time.
The court found the submitted materials sufficient and decided to open proceedings in an administrative case. The consideration will be carried out according to the rules of general claim proceedings.
A preliminary hearing in this case is scheduled for September 17, 2026. By that time, the court has invited the defendant to prepare and submit an official response to the statement of claim.
As a reminder, on April 15, 2026, it became known that the PlayCity regulator fined FC Shakhtar for over UAH 5 million . The violations were discovered during monitoring: the club's website featured gambling advertisements using photos of persons under the age of 21, along with the brand of the gambling organizer. The club was given three months to voluntarily pay the fine.
