There was a rotation in the three most popular vacancies, as can be seen from the report on DOU. Marketing remained in first place (6,572 vacancies, +1,878 vacancies, 40%), but Analyst moved into second place, increasing by 60% (+1,447 vacancies). Sales moved into third place with 3,546 vacancies (+369 vacancies, 12%).

The first ten categories were marked by growth from 12% to 68% in various positions. The categories showed the highest growth rate:
Indicators of this year’s job market have become more favorable to candidates without experience — the number of vacancies for beginners increased by 83% over the year. The slowest rates of growth were shown by offers for professionals with 3-5 years of experience. However, this did not prevent them from remaining in the first place in the number of 18,656 vacancies.

Feedback on vacancies decreased in the majority of categories. For technical positions, competition increased only for designers, DevOps, Artists, AI/ML, ERP/CRM.
For QA, whose category remained in fourth place compared to last year by the number of vacancies, feedback on offers decreased by almost 35% (from 113 feedbacks to 73).

Non-technical jobs are also trending downward. Here HR received the biggest decrease (from 72 to 44 reviews).

The people of IT are looking less and less in the direction of FOPs, and are starting to choose gig contracts for employment.

Among the ten largest Ukrainian IT companies, Ajax Systems and Genesis grew, and the first even moved to a new position in the ranking. It is worth noting. that both companies are food companies.

In addition, Genesis led the ranking of companies in terms of hiring pace — in 2024, the company published 1,163 vacancies, which is 47% more than venture builder SKELAR, which follows with 787 vacancies.

EPAM Ukraine, SoftServe, Global Logic, Luxoft and DataArt from the largest IT companies of Ukraine did not make it into the top twenty companies that published the most vacancies in 2024.
