Ukraine and NATO have developed two AI models for the military: one predicts drone attacks, the other helps plan artillery operations
Ukraine and NATO have jointly developed two artificial intelligence models for the military. One can predict where and when Russia will use drones near the front line, and the other helps artillerymen choose options for conducting operations more quickly. The first model has already been prepared for integration into the Ukrainian Armed Forces systems, while the second is currently being tested.

This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
"Model No. 13" predicts the activity of enemy drones. The system analyzes previous attacks, weather conditions, and the current situation on the battlefield. Based on this data, the AI predicts in which areas and at what time Russian drones may appear, what types they are, and how actively they will be used.
The development has already been tested on real data and refined. Now it can be integrated into the systems with which the Ukrainian military monitors the situation on the battlefield.
“Model No. 32” instead helps artillerymen plan operations. It takes into account what weapons and ammunition the military has at its disposal, where the firing positions are located, and what restrictions exist. The AI then checks possible plans and discards those that cannot be executed due to logistics, weapon characteristics, or other conditions, and evaluates and organizes the rest. So the model should help artillerymen make decisions faster.
So far, this is a prototype that has already been handed over to the Ukrainian military for testing. If it passes the test successfully, the technology can be extended to other units of the Defense Forces.
Both models were created by NATO Command Transformation and the Armed Forces of Ukraine with the participation of the Joint NATO-Ukraine Analysis, Training and Education Center (JATEC).
Previously, dev.ua wrote about a Ukrainian company that was among the top three winners of a NATO competition with an AI system for autonomous drone operation in electronic warfare. That competition was also organized by NATO Command Transformation and JATEC.

На український ударний дрон PUNISHER зібрали понад 1,3 млн грн. Що може гроза командних центрів ворога
Дмитро Томчук повідомив, що найлегші та найменші ударні дрони PUNISHER, які не мають аналогів у світі, тепер коштують $70 000. Виробник додав у комплекс ще одного безпілотника, і тепер їх там два. Дмитро пише, що Юлія Черешня та Павло Харузов зібрали на комплекс більше 1,3 млн грн.

Серед списку допомоги, яку пропонує Пентагон, є дрони-камікадзе Switchblade 600, які офіційний Київ просив передати раніше.
Контракт на дослідження та розробку для 10 дронів SwitchBlade 600 виробника Aerovironment, очікується протягом наступних 30 днів, заявила прес-секретар Пентагона Джессіка Максвелл в електронному листі до News Defense.
